I just wanted to let you know that I’ve added another specialty to my real estate business. In light of what is going on in our economy and in the local housing market, many of our neighbors are facing foreclosure or finding themselves “upside-down” with their mortgages.

Therefore, I have taken special training to help homeowners in distress. A foreclosed property in a neighborhood can have an extremely negative effect on the entire marketplace; one of my goals is to help homeowners avoid foreclosure completely.

A big problem, according to the statistics, is that most people do not know of their options if they are facing a financial difficulty. One of the topics in which I’ve been trained to receive the SFR (Short Sale/Foreclosure Resource) Certification from the National Association of Realtors®, is explaining those strategies to homeowners so they can make the best decision for their future.
